right now.
im just getting back into the even more business of life.
the one thing keeping me calm right now is God... and the book im reading The Christian Atheist by Craig Groeshchel.

with in just the first page i have already discovered something about myself. .. i want my love to be filtered by God, Just like the way craig felt about his wife.

"She was amazing, and all of the love cliches I had heard about over the years happened to me. When she prayed for "her girl" heaven seemed to open. When she sang songs of worship, time stood still. Every time she looked in my direction, I simultaneously praised God and melted."

His wife Amy is clearly the woman God intended her to be.

As for me.. im working on it.. daily.

it has been way to long since i have posted.. all summer in fact. i guess i must catch you up on my summer.
first i went to swaziland! thats right, Africa.
it was my first actual mission trip and it was amazing! i helped with the AIDES TASK FORCE, GIGIS KITCHEN(meals for orphans), THE LUKE COMMISSION, and more. i learned alot of siswati (the language they speak). it would take me forever to tell you the details so just look at some pictures. i didnt take this first one. i wish i did but its a googled.
this was dr schelzembach looking rock were he would go to pray and think.. pretty amazing.
these are some girls that we met on the nazarene compound where we stayed. they were hilariously awesome. the one to my rights name was gci. dont even ask me how to prounounce it because i cant.

i met these girls in a small town called nzenguine, were we painted a church. the girl to my lefts name was buche', which means beauty and i miss her. i spent all day with her and i developed a relationship that i hope will last forever. someday i want to make it make to that small town in africa to see her, or perhaps she will meet her dreams and come here.this little girl was at gigis place. she loved taking pictures.

after Africa i was back for a month and then my family, nick, and i went to puerto rico to visit my grandparents. it was a blast of course!!

were pointing to the rainbow behind us.

we went snorkling and found a konk shell

one night we went out to eat.

this picture is when we went canyoning!! it was awesome!!!!! i mean, just look!

lastly, we went to south dakota to go camping with nicks family for a week. i havent uploadede pictures yet so those will come later. we got to see mount rushmore and crazy horse and the little town of custer, which is soo cute! i loved it!

kinds of love

The love for equals is a human thing--of friend for friend, brother or brother. It is to love what is loving and lovely. The world smiles. The love for the less fortunate is a beautiful thing--the love for those who suffer, for those who are poor, the sick, the failures, the unlovely. This is compassion, and it touches the heart of the world. The love for the more fortunate is a rare thing--to love those who succeed where we fail, to rejoice without envy wit those who rejoice, the love of the poor for the rich, of the black man for the white man. The world is always bewildered by its saints. And then there is the love for the enemy--love for the one who does not love you but mocks, threatens, and inflicts pain. The tortured's love for the torturer. This is God's love. It conquers the world.
